Police investigating murder on the border of Oakville and Mississauga

Police are investigating a murder on the border of Mississauga and Oakville late Wednesday night.
Halton police say they were called to reports of shots fired on Ninth Line, north of Dundas, around 11:30 p.m.
Police say officers discovered a woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Halton police confirm there was an overnight homicide east of 9th line, north of Dundas. They received reports of shots fired, officers arrived on scene & discovered a body. Peel Police homicide detectives are taking over the investigation. @CHCHNews @morninglive

Peel police are taking over the investigating as the address is in Mississauga.
They say there is no suspect information.
