Police investigate sudden death of man in Niagara Falls

Detectives are investigating a sudden death inside a Niagara Falls home this morning, and a man we spoke with claims the person found dead is his brother.

“I’m so angry. He was too young to die like this.”

Mark Carson says his younger brother, 55-year-old James Carson, died at his girlfriend’s home earlier this morning. He says James had been assaulted, and that the incident had involved an unlicensed taxi service.

Niagara Police haven’t confirmed these details or the identity of the man killed, however, police say they were called a home on Waters Avenue just before 6:30 this morning. When they arrived they found a man who was in distress, and he was later pronounced dead inside the home.

This has frightened residents in this normally quiet neighbourhood.
