Police investigate stabbing in downtown Hamilton

A woman is in custody following an overnight stabbing in Central Hamilton.

Police were called to 30 Sanford St. around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday shortly after the incident had occurred.

One man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No charges have been laid. The crime is currently under investigation.
