Police investigate shooting on east Hamilton Mountain

Police are asking for the public’s help after a targeted shooting on the east Hamilton Mountain Wednesday night.

Officers were called shortly after 10 p.m. to the area of East 23rd St. between Crocket and Concession streets where multiple gunshots were heard.

Investigators confirmed the shooting happened and that bullet casings were found in the area.

Detectives are asking residents and businesses in the area to check their security cameras between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. for any suspicious activity.

Investigators are also asking for anyone driving in the area at the time with dash cam footage to contact police.
