Police investigate shooting on Hamilton Mountain

Hamilton police are looking for two suspects after a shooting near Westmount Secondary School on Sunday.

Officers responded to the scene on Montcalm Dr. at 4:45 p.m. after receiving reports about gunshots.

One victim, a 21-year-old Hamilton man, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The first suspect is male, 21-25 years old,  6’1″, weighing around 130 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a dark hoodie, dark blue jeans and had his face covered.

The second suspect is male, 5’5, weighing around 150-160 pounds with short straight black hair.  He was wearing blue jeans and a crew neck sweater.

The were seen driving a dark grey or blue four door Honda with tinted windows.

Police are continuing to investigate the shooting and anyone with information is asked to call police.
