Brantford teen approached by two men in vehicle

Brantford police are investigating after two men tried to get a 13-year-old girl to come over to their vehicle earlier this month.

It happened in the area of Westchester Way and Oriole Parkway around 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 9.

Police say the men tried to wave the girl over to their black SUV. The pair fled when the teen refused to come over and pulled out her cell phone.

Investigators are looking for an older model SUV, possibly a Ford Escape, with tinted windows. The rear hatch has two stickers on either side of the licence plate.
