Another school in Hamilton is facing violent threats.

The Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board (HWCDSB) says staff at St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School discovered on Thursday a message in a boys’ washroom that threatened a bombing at the school on Friday.

“Please be assured that the school and school board take threats of any kind extremely seriously and will continue to work closely with Hamilton police to keep our students and staff safe,” said Principal Brian Daly in an email to families.

“Police will have an increased presence in the area. The school administration will remain vigilant.”

Daly said Hamilton police have been notified and are currently investigating.

This violent message follows a series of threats at Hamilton schools this week.
