Police investigate after body found in Lake Ontario in Oakville

Halton police are investigating after a body was found in Lake Ontario in Oakville on Friday afternoon.

Officers were called around 12:30 p.m. to the area of Lakeshore Road West and Dorval Drive.

The man was found in the water and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say it’s too early in the investigation to determine whether or not the death is suspicious.

No roads in the area have been closed.
