Police investigate 2 sexual assaults at Ontario music festival

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating two sexual assaults at a music festival in Little Current, Ont.

Officers were called to the Country Fest Fairgrounds shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday for reports of a female with injuries.

Police say a woman was walking back to her campsite at the music festival when she was assaulted by a stranger.

She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say through their investigation, they received a second complaint about another sexual assault at the fairground.

Investigators believe the same person is responsible for both incidents. He is described as being roughly 19 years old, five-foot-eleven, with a thin build, and dark hair cut short on the sides.
