Police identify stolen vehicle used in Hamilton Mountain hit-and-run

Hamilton police have identified the stolen vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that sent a 70-year-old man to hospital last weekend.
Officers say the incident happened in the area of Upper Wentworth St. and Elite Dr. shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday.
Investigators say the elderly man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On Wednesday, police confirmed the vehicle involved was a Subaru that was stolen near Upper Sherman Ave. and Stone Church Rd. East prior to the collision. They also believe a dark-coloured Ford pick-up truck dropped off the suspect in that area.
The force is asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect. Nearby residents are asked to review their security cameras between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday for any suspicious activity.
