Updated It’s being called the largest counterfeit DVD seizure in Canadian history.

Police raided a warehouse in Oakville and four other locations in Toronto and Burlington and found over 13,000 DVD copies of TV shows ready to be shipped all over the world.

Halton police say this was a highly sophisticated scam operated by three men in three different cities. Hundreds of victims were scammed through what looked like very legitimate websites that have since been taken down. Cindy Csordas explains.
