Unique coins have led Hamilton police to an alleged bakery thief.

Investigators say a bakery near Barton Street and Sherman Avenue was broken into late Sunday night, and they followed a trail of unique coins leading them from the shop to a nearby address. There, they arrested a man and found stolen items from the bakery, along with more coins. 38-year old Jason Healy of Hamilton is charged with break and enter and possession under $5,000.
