Police expect lengthy road closure after collision in Hamilton

Hamilton police are expecting a lengthy road closure as they investigate a collision.

The crash happened shortly after 7:10 a.m. on Victoria Ave. N, just north of Barton St. E. It involved a dump truck with trailer and a crane truck.

Police believe the dump truck switched lanes to pass the crane when the attached trailer caught the crane and then came to a stop.

There were no injuries reported.

Northbound traffic on Victoria Ave., north of Barton St. E is expected to be closed for 4-6 hours.
