“Police Day” in Halton

Halton Police held their annual “Police Day” on Saturday.

Halton’s Tactical Response Unit, Canine and Explosive Disposal Unit all gave demonstrations.

In one demo, police showed how they would pull over a suspect, and take them into custody. The free event was an opportunity for the public to meet the Police Chief and the officers who work to keep Halton safe.

Saturday was also “Prescription Drop Off Day”, a chance for people to hand in any potentially harmful drugs.
