Police continue to investigate Niagara Falls jewelry store robbery

Police are continuing to investigate a robbery that took place at a Roberts Jewellers in Niagara Falls on March 5.

At approximately 5:20 a.m., two men wearing masks smashed the front doors of the jewelry store and stole numerous gold rings, diamond rings and watches before fleeing the scene.

Investigators describe the first man as white, male, around 50 years old with glasses. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark green hoodie, black pants, green shoes, black gloves and a black scarf covering his neck and mouth.

The second man believed to be involved is described as heavyset with a distinct walk. He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, black pants and blue shoes.

Officers believe the pair were driving a dark grey or back minivan.
