Police continue search for missing Welland woman 27 years later

Police are once again appealing to the public for information on the disappearance of a woman from Welland 27 years since she first went missing.
Niagara Police say that Audrey Desjardins was last seen in the City of Welland on October 3, 1996 driving her red 1985 Ford Crown Victoria bearing the Ontario license plate CJM 741.

She was 43-years-of-age at the time of her disappearance and would be 71 presently.
At the time she went missing Audrey was described as a white woman, five-foot-three, weighing 115 with a slender build, long straight hair dyed blonde and blue eyes.
She was last seen wearing a light blue jean jacket, blue jeans, a salmon coloured sweatshirt and black running shoes.

An investigation into her disappearance is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009427.
