Police continue search for missing Brantford father

The search for a Brantford father continues more than two months after he was first reported missing.

Andrew Osborne, 36, left his home near Jarvis and Spring streets on May 10. Osborne’s father told CHCH News that his son sent him a text message around 9 p.m. the night he went missing saying he was going for a walk.

He was captured on surveillance video around 10:20 p.m. at the intersection of Brant Ave. and Church St. and was seen walking southbound on Brant Ave.

“Police have been following up on all potential leads, however, no confirmed information points to his whereabouts,” said Brantford police in a news release.

Members of the Brantford K9 units, and officers on our all-terrain vehicles have been searching a variety of areas including the trails in and around the Grand River. Brantford Fire has searched the river by boat and the Ontario Provincial Police has provided drones for aerial assistance.

Osborne is described as white, five-foot-ten, 190 lbs with a medium build, brown beard and shaved head. He was last seen wearing black and grey checked pajama pants, a black Metal Mulisha baseball hat, a black Sons of Anarchy hoodie, white K-Swiss running shoes, and was carrying a black and grey Duck Commander backpack.
