Police continue to investigate the disappearance of Nusebia Hasan

The search of a rural property in Flamborough continued today as Hamilton police investigate the disappearance of a woman nearly a decade ago.

Nuseiba Hasan was last seen by her family in 2006 but wasn’t reported missing until last year. The family is scattered between Canada and Jordan and Hasan often traveled between the two countries. Police say they have reason to believe Hasan was met with foul play. They’re starting the search in the last location she was seen, a farm once owned by the family on Concession 8.   Hamilton police have brought in ATV’s, their Mounted unit and dozens of officers to walk through the property. The OPP brought in a drone to search from above, they also used ground-penetrating radar and cadaver dogs. Police say they haven’t found anything by this Friday they will wrap up the investigation on the farm.
