Police Chief for the Day

Four grade six students lived a day-in-the-life of Hamilton’s top cops.

Over 200 students submitted essays in hopes of being named ‘Chief for the Day.’ Students were asked if you were chief how would you make our community safe.

One student was named chief while the others were anointed as deputies and superintendents. The girls toured every aspect of the force and even came face-to-face with the mounted unit.
