Police charge teen after stabbing, robbery near Saltfleet high school

Hamilton police are investigating after a 15-year-old student was stabbed during a targeted robbery Wednesday.

Officers say the boy was walking home from Saltfleet District High School near Candlewood Dr. around 2:30 p.m. when he was stabbed several times.

Paramedics transported him to hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

Investigators arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy in relation to this stabbing. He faces charges of aggravated assault and robbery.
