Police bust Niagara-region grow op

Niagara Regional Police have seized more than $3 million worth of marijuana in a grow-op bust.

Police say they have been investigating the grow-op in Thorold for months.

On Monday, officers executed search warrants at two locations on Cataract Road.

Police seized 2,683 marijuana plants and 287.5 pounds of marijuana, valued at close to $3.2 million.

Six people were taken into custody.

64-year-old Jui Kang Liang faces several drug charges.
