Police believe Angelo Musitano’s killer also murdered a Vaughan woman two months earlier

Police believe Angelo Musitano’s killer shot a young Toronto woman in a very similar fashion about two months before the notorious Hamilton mob figure was shot to death in his Waterdown driveway.
In a newly released video, it shows Angelo Musitano’s killer running away after the fatal shots were fired. Police believe the same man is in video taken two months earlier. It shows a man getting out of a jeep with a gun, shooting into a BMW SUV and running back into the jeep. 28-year old veterinary assistant Mila Barberi was in the drivers seat of the BMW, she had been picking her boyfriend up from work; he was sitting on the passenger side. Police say they aren’t sure if the boyfriend was the target, but they say Barberi was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Hamilton detective sergeant Peter Thom says the crimes are connected. They have reviewed thousands of hours of surveillance footage of the two scenes. Footage from Vaughan in March 2017 shows a black Honda Civic believed to be involved in the murder. The same black Honda Civic was seen in front of Angelo Musitano’s house, in the week before that murder when Musitano was being stalked.
