Police arrest, charge suspect following drug seizure in Niagara Falls

Niagara police have arrested and charged a person after executing search warrants resulting in a drug bust.

Officers say they received authorization to execute two search warrants inside homes located in the area of Morrison St. and Chrysler Ave., and Victoria Ave. and Jepson St. in Niagara Falls.

Police say they recovered $6,950 of the drugs, including suspected fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine and cocaine.

Additionally, police also seized $2,900 in cash, which is believed to have been acquired through the proceeds of crime.

Nicolas Roditis, 47, of Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:

• Possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
• Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
• Fail to comply with probation order

Investigators say Roditis was released and is scheduled to attend a St. Catharines courthouse in April.
