A plume of yellow-green smoke over Hamilton’s east end

The Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of the Environment are investigating after a large cloud of greenish-yellow smoke was seen over the industrial area of Hamilton’s east end.

5 people were treated by paramedics around 3pm at Ruetgers, a coal tar manufacturer on Strathearne ave. Workers inside were doing repairs when the leak happened.
