Four people were transported to hospital after a small plane crashed during landing at the Brampton Flight Centre.

Police were called to the scene on McLaughlin Rd. between Old School Rd. and King St. around 5:20 p.m. Monday.

Investigators believe the four-seat Cessna plane struck a tree as it tried to land and crashed on McLaughlin Rd.

All four people on board were taken to hospital. Three of the passengers were taken as a precaution while the other suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating the cause of the crash.
