Picture your pet with Santa

Santa Claus took time out of his busy schedule today to help local homeless animals.
‘Picture your pet with Santa’ raises funds to support homeless and neglected animals and helps get them home for the holidays with their new families.
Last year the Hamilton Burlington SPCA raised $13 000 and they hope to increase that by at least $2000 this year.
“We think it’s a great fundraiser for us but people love to have their picture with their pets and it’s an opportunity for us to raise funds for the animals and especially at Christmas time. It’s a nice time for us to be able to do a little bit more for the animals at the shelter.” Michelle Gellatly, from the Hamilton Burlington SPCA.
If you didn’t get a chance to go today, Santa will be back at the Union Hall on Dartnall Road tomorrow from 11-3. And at a number of other locations throughout Hamilton and Waterdown until mid-December.
