You couldn’t go two days this year without hearing about something new Taylor Swift had done, or a new record she had broken… and TIME magazine has taken notice.

The queen of pop has been named TIME’s ‘Person of the Year.’ Swift beat out Barbie, ChatGPT creator Sam Altman, King Charles, Hollywood strikers, and more for the title.

And while it’s a little unusual for TIME magazine to pick a pop star – we’re honestly not surprised at all.
