Man rescued from crane in Hamilton left hospital without permission

Hamilton police are asking the public to help find the man who climbed a crane in downtown Hamilton after he left St. Joseph’s hospital without permission.

24-year-old Ben Vandenbroek was brought to St. Joseph’s hospital for concern for his well-being after he climbed a construction crane over night in downtown Hamilton. Shortly after police left the hospital, Vandenbroek left without permission.

Vandenbroek is described as male, Caucasian, 24-years-of-age, 6’3”, 160 lbs with light brown hair above the ears. He was last seen wearing blue boxer shorts.

Hamilton Police are concerned for Vandenbroek’s well-being and ask anyone who sees him to call 9-1-1 immediately.
