Person hit on Hamilton street

Hamilton police say one person has suffered serious injuries, after a collision between a car and pedestrian.

It happened at Queen Street South and Aberdeen Avenue around 8 Wednesday morning.

Beckett Drive is closed in both directions at Fennell Avenue.

Queen Street South is also closed in both directions at Herkimer Street, while the eastbound lanes of Aberdeen Avenue are closed at Spruceside Avenue.

Closures could last several hours.
