Pepper spray used by intruders

A 26 year old woman and 36 year old man have been treated in hospital after two masked men broke into a home on Beach Road in Hamilton and pepper sprayed them and a dog while they were sleeping.

Police say the intruders ransacked the house and took cell phones and wallets.

Police believe this wasn’t a random incident and the home was targeted.
