Peel police officer dies

An off-duty Peel Regional Police officer has died of her injuries after a multi-vehicle crash near Orangeville over the weekend.

Constable Ewa Domagalska was rushed to hospital Saturday after her motorcycle collided with an SUV on Airport Road north of Highway 9.

OPP say three motorcycles and an SUV were involved in the collision.

There’s no word yet on whether any charges will be laid.

Domagalska had been with the Peel force since 2005.
