Peel officer faces charge

A Peel Regional Police officer has been charged with dangerous driving.

The Special Investigations Unit says the officer was driving in an unmarked police vehicle in July, when he collided with another car.

The driver of the other vehicle was sent to hospital with a fractured hand.

Constable Ufuk Ciftici faces one count of dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
