Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Stoney Creek

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Stoney Creek.
Hamilton police were called to the intersection of Barton St. East and Grays Rd. shortly after 7 a.m. Monday.
Police say a man was walking in the crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle turning onto Grays Rd.
The man suffered non-life threatening injuries.
It is not known at this time if the dense fog and wet weather were factors in the collision.
Police are still investigating to determine if any charges will be laid.
A section of Grays Rd. was closed following the collision but it has since been reopened.
