OPP are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed on Highway 403 in Mississauga.

Police say it happened just before 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the westbound lanes of the highway, just west of Hurontario St.

A man was found dead just off the highway.

The driver remained on scene.
