Pedestrian struck and killed by car in Norfolk County: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police in Norfolk County are investigating after a man was struck and killed Friday evening.

OPP say the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on Indian Line between Concession 2 and Cemetery Road in the community of Townsend, west of Jarvis.

The man reportedly suffered serious injuries, and he was later pronounced deceased in hospital. His name is not being released until his next-of-kin are notified.

Police say the driver involved remained at the scene and was not injured in the collision.
