Pedestrian hit in Georgetown

Halton police are investigating after an 89-year old woman was struck by a car while crossing Guelph Street at Sinclair Avenue in Georgetown Monday.

She was taken to Sunnybrook Trauma Centre in Toronto and remains in critical condition.

The driver of the car, a 36 year old Georgetown woman, was not injured.

Police will not be releasing any of their names.

There is no word yet if any charges will be laid.
