A Halton senior has died after a collision in Burlington.

The 75-year-old Oakville man was hit while trying to cross Mainway Drive at Northside Road just before 7 p.m. Thursday.

The man died at Hamilton General Hospital with his family by his side.

The collision reconstruction unit continues to investigate the incident.
