PCs say Liberals plan to raise payroll taxes

Ontario’s Progressive Conservatives say that Liberal finance documents they’ve obtained show that the government intends to increase payroll taxes.
Finance critic Vic Fedeli and PC leader Tim Hudak say this will eliminate up to 150-thousand jobs across the province and the premier was warned by her finance cabinet about the impact.
“Moving ahead with this, Kathleen Wynne is ignoring the advice of Ministry of Finance experts her own transit panel experts and even her own hand pick pension advisor, former prime minister Paul Martin,” said Fedeli.
Tuesday afternoon, the PCs plan to introduce a motion at Queens Park demanding that no new programs be implemented which will increase payroll taxes.
