Paul Bernardo may be getting married

The Toronto Sun is reporting this morning that a London, Ontario woman plans to marry serial killer Paul Bernardo.
This woman who claims to be in a relationship with Bernardo says she’s trapped between love and reality. The 30 year old woman who has a university education said “Paul is a kind man, a Christian, a very nice man.”
Her parents say their daughter has had a long line of bad relationships and that she is also emotionally fragile. The family is hoping that she will reconsider her plans for marriage.
The killer and his bride-to-be have been writing each other since last fall.
CHCH News got reaction from residents in St Catharines, where Bernardo and his-then wife Karla Homolka committed the sex murders of Kristen French and Leslie Mahaffy in the early 1990s.
“He put us through a lot when he was free. It was a scary situation, we had two young girls and we wouldn’t let them out of our sight. So I was hoping that we wouldn’t hear from him again and he would serve his time 24 hours a day in prison, and this is very tragic for the French family, to hear him involved with another lady.”
Since the media has heard of this relationship, the woman in question says she is struggling and dealing with making a decision on this relationship. Corrections Services Canada says they have no jurisdiction over whether two people can obtain a marriage licence.
Bernardo is eligible for day parole next year and full parole in 2018.
