NHL superstar Patrick Kane has found a new home on the ice.

After spending almost his entire career in Chicago with the Blackhawks, the 35-year-old will head five hours east.

It was announced today that Kane is signing with the Detroit Red Wings for the remainder of this NHL season, attempting to become only the third player to return to the league from an invasive hip operation.
