Passenger critical after Pelham crash

The driver involved in an overnight crash in Pelham has been identified.

Police say 23 year old Phil Jantzi lost control of his Nissan at the intersection of College Street and Station Street and hit a tree.

He has serious injuries to his lower body.

The passenger in the front seat is in critical condition and has been transferred to Hamilton General Hospital by air ambulance.

A third person who was sitting in the back seat was treated and released with minor injuries.

Jantzi is now facing several charges including impaired driving.
