Part of Wellington Street North to close next week for CN track maintenance

The City of Hamilton says a section of Wellington Street North will close on Monday.

The road will be fully closed between Burlington St. E and Barton St. E beginning 7 a.m. on Monday.

Work is expected to wrap up by 7 p.m. on Friday.

The closure will allow CN Rail to complete track maintenance in the area.

There will be detour signs in the area for drivers. Local access will be maintained.

The #4 Bayfront bus will be on detour in the east and westbound directions.
