Pair wanted in early morning Milton home invasion, attempted car theft

Halton police are searching for two men after a home invasion in Milton this morning in the area of Wilson Drive and Joyce Boulevard.

The suspects — both in dark clothing and wearing face masks — forced entry via a front door of a residence just after 4 a.m.

The men confronted a resident of the home and demanded the keys to his vehicle. One of them was armed with a hammer.

Police say a brief struggle ensued for control of the hammer before both suspects fled the residence on foot.

No physical injuries were sustained and no property was taken.

Halton police are asking residents in the area of Wilson Drive and Joyce Boulevard to check any security footage between the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. and to contact the Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2416 if they have any information.
