Overnight stabbing in Hess Village

A 27-year-old man is in hospital after he was stabbed in Hess Village early this morning.

Police were called to the area just before 2:00. They would not say exactly where the incident took place. The man suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. There are no suspects at this time.

Police are also investigating a sexual assault that happened around the same time. They say a 22-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the area around 130. They believe she knew the victim and say there is no danger to the public.
