Over $22 million in illegal cannabis seized in Niagara

The Ontario Provincial police seized more than $22 million in cannabis in the Niagara region.

On October 14, OPP executed two search warrants at greenhouses and residences in Vineland and St. Catharines.

As a result, over 21,000 illegal cannabis plants and over 181 kilograms of processed illegal cannabis was seized. The total value is estimated to be over $22 million.

Six people were charged with drug related charges and are scheduled to appear in court on December 23, 2021.
