Over 20 firefighters battled a house fire in Burlington Tuesday.

The fire happened on Millcroft Park Drive west of Country Club Drive at around 6:30 p.m.

Burlington Fire Department say firefighters arrived to heavy smoke and flames. It said the fire originated in the garage of the home.

There are no reported injuries.

Burlington fire says the cause of the blaze is believed to be smoldering ashes and the damage is estimated at around $800,000.
