Ottawa won’t confirm death of Hamilton ‘exorcist’

A controversial Hamilton businessman has reportedly been killed in Mexico. According to reports, Ronald Burridge has died in Acapulco.
Burridge was known in Hamilton as “Reverend Ron.” He operated Hotel Hamilton on James Street North for more than 30 years. The rooming house offered cheap rent to down and out tenants, and Burridge offered exorcisms. He sold the property in 2009 and has been living in Mexico ever since.
In an email to CHCH news, Barbara Harvey of foreign affairs and international trade Canada wrote “our thoughts are with the family and friends of a Canadian citizen who passed away in Mexico.”
They would not release details about the victim for privacy reasons.
