A day after the throne speech, it’s time for MPPs to get back at it.


Premier Dalton McGuinty congratulated new speaker Dave Levac on his election before coming under opposition fire. NDP leader Andrea Horwath wondered when McGuinty planned to say how much the cancellation of the Mississauga and Oakville power plants would cost taxpayers.

Meanwhile, PC leader Tim Hudak pressed the premier to introduce a mandatory public sector wage freeze to control spending.
