OPP seize over $61M worth of illegal cannabis in Kingsville

Ontario Provincial Police have seized over $61 million worth of illegal cannabis from two southwestern Ontario production sites.

The OPP Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team executed two search warrants on June 28 in Kingsville, Ont. at two greenhouse locations and two associated residences.

Officers apprehended more than 45 illegal cannabis plants, eight tonnes of processed illegal cannabis worth $61 million and over $300,000 in offence-related equipment.

No charges have been laid at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
