OPP searches for driver who crashed vehicle, caused local power outage

Ontario Provincial Police is searching for a driver who was involved in a single-vehicle crash that caused a local power outage.
It happened on Highway 8 near Stone Rd. in Huron County earlier this month.
Police arrived on scene and located a small sports car that had crashed into the north ditch and damaged some hydro wires.
The damage caused a localized power outage.
Officers searched the area but could not find the driver.
